Program Overview
The Travis County Development Authority (TCDA) provides flexible financing for a wide range of projects that support economic development and job creation.
Established under the State Transportation Code, TCDA has broader authority than many other County corporations, making it a strong fit for mixed-use or cross-sector projects.
We offer taxable and tax-exempt bond financing for eligible nonprofit and for-profit entities across Texas. Common project types include:
- Transportation systems and infrastructure
- Research and development facilities
- Educational or workforce development facilities
- Projects that promote job growth and long-term economic development
- Refinancing of eligible existing debt
- If your project doesn’t clearly fall under housing, healthcare, or culture, it may be a good candidate for TCDA.
